Powering Events with LinkedIn Groups
As an example of what developers can do with the Groups API, we are excited to have Microsoft debut the first large-scale implementation of the Groups API on their Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference 2011 event website.

I've been searching API docs for a while now and not able to find how to pull in public group data (like popular discussion threads) without having the user authenticate. How does the Microsoft Site do it?

Looks like they cache the oauth credentials in another handler or it's a cron job that uses the oauth creds to store the content.

i have an PHP application in which i have implemented linked in login button which is working fine for firefox browser but i am facing probelm with intenet explorer like when i click on liked in login button it is supposed to redirect on my profile page but on ie it will stay on same login page and same time linked in login button gets hide .....
can any one help in this issue

Is there any way to have a set of moderators for specific LinkedIN group and have an ability to ban some users that abuse the rules of that group?
For example in "C# Developers/Architects" group (and many others) there is a people (actually most of them looks like zombie accounts) who posts jobs postings in inappropriate areas outside of Jobs and Jobs Discussions). I would like to ban them via some kind of API, or directly from the site.

Is there any way to do it?

Hi, I'm an Account Manager with a Creative Agency. We've had a brief from a prospective client to 'do something exciting' with their new LinkedIn Corporate page! I was wondering whether the API allowed developers to make a degree of graphical changes to the page, as can be done on FaceBook? Any examples of innovative LinkedIn pages would also be appreciated.
