Is there a way to show a public view of a Group discussion w/o login?

Hi,

I am building up a site, and with Linkedin integration with the JS api. On each page I would like the current discussion of a group to be on the page, and the comments visible to any user on our site - but if the user wants to participate and comment they would have to log in with their linkedin account.

Is something like this possible with the current api?

Thanks,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,

The JS API doesn't allow you to do any API calls without an authenticated user.

Hi Daniel,

I'll add you to the list of people who have been wanting such functionality. :)

Dear Jeremy,

I have been trying to achieve the same! As a matter of fact there is also a subgroup that I have created and would like the discussion feed of the 2 groups to be available for users to comment by sigining in via the linkedIn API. Could you please let me know how and where to access the codes etc.

I would just like to add that I'm also interested in such functionality.

Hi Manish,

Microsoft is a business partner with us. It's not possible to do the same thing they are doing via the Open Developer program.
