Export contacts with email using C# or Java

I have need to export my contacts in csv format with email address using C# or Java. LinkedIn api allows to get contacts including all fields I need but email address. The question #1: is there any way to do it? Email address is very important.

Well there is also in linkedIn titled "Export contacts". It does what I almost need. I exports contacts to csv file with some fields including email. However some of the fields are filled out and the others are blank.
The question #2: is there any way to export my contacts using C# or Java like the button "Export to csv" does? In other words, I'd like to push it programmatically and the result. Is there an api method for this?

The bottom line is I need to get email address for each of a person I connected with. I can see it on them page.
However there is no way to get email address of a person I connected with?

E-mail address is not supported. Search the forums for the many, many threads about this subject (hint: they all say you won't get access to e-mail).

If it doesn't support via api then is there any way to get as the same result as I click on button "Export connections"? This button exports connections as a csv file and the result does contain emails.

Hi Alexander,

At this time we do not support exposing emails via the API.

Thanks,
Kamyar

What I'm talking about is the button "Export" located at http://www.linkedin.com/addressBookExport. It's odd but it exports connections that contain emails. Why?

Hi Alexander,

Yes, you're correct. The website offers this functionality. Email is exposed via the website but it isn't exposed at this time via any API. This is by design.

As with all platforms (not just LinkedIn), there are pieces of functionality that aren't exposed through APIs, even though they exist in the main site/product.

Hope that helps,
Kamyar

Hi Muhammad,

Unfortunately for your connections you can only retrieve their r_basicprofile information. For a list of what you can view for your connections please refer to this page:
